Getting the API key

To use the 1DOX API, an API key is needed. The key is a string of letters and numbers and is unique. Be sure to keep your company's API key a secret.

To get a key:

1. log in to your account at https://digidoc.1dox.site/
2. Click on your name in the upper right corner
3. You can acquire key for your company by clicking "My companies" tab.
   For personal account, you can generate the key under "My profile" tab.
4. At the end of the first column (the one with all the company/personal data) click the "Generate API key" button

From now on, you can always log in again to copy your API key

When you no longer want to use this API key or want to generate a new one, click "Delete" on the API key row in your company view. Once the key has been deleted, any API requests using that key will be rejected. To generate a new key, just click "Generate API key" after deleting the old one.
